Vacationing with children can be hard. It is always hard to please everyone, but I think these places might come pretty close to doing that.
Here’s some places to check out!
Hersheypark in Hershey, Pennsylvania
Hersheypark is always a fun place to be! With rides galore and of course, the chocolate, you really can’t go wrong. This is a very family-friendly place! It has things to do for all ages, including rides, different places to eat, shops, and more candy than you could ever wish for. Don’t forget attractions like Zoo America and Hershey’s Chocolate World. The zoo is a big hit because who doesn’t love animals? If your family loves the outdoors, make sure to visit the Hershey Gardens. They are beautiful and offer amazing photo ops! However, my personal favorite is Chocolate World. Chocolate is everywhere you turn! There is honestly nothing better than that.
Long Beach Island, New Jersey
Another personal favorite of mine has to be Long Beach Island! I have been going to LBI since I was only a couple of months old, and 20 years later, I still love it just as much as I did the first time I saw it. There are beautiful beaches, adorable shops, delicious restaurants, and of course, Fantasy Island. Fantasy Island is an amusement park and arcade. It is definitely a family-friendly hotspot. The rides are more geared towards the kids, but the arcade is where you are sure to drop all of your money on crane machines and ski ball! At some point, you are going to get hungry. If you want casual dining, Chicken or the Egg is the best place to eat (in my opinion). They are famous for their wings and their incredible hot sauces. If you want something a little fancier, I suggest Parker’s Garage. They offer a delicious seafood dinner with a beautiful view of the sunset over the water!
Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
Myrtle Beach has everything a family could want! Want to see some animals? There’s a zoo and an aquarium! Want to have an adventure-filled day? There’s a water park and a family race track! There’s even a mini golf course and Family Kingdom amusement park! My personal favorite place is called Broadway at the Beach! They offer restaurants, shopping, live entertainment, and different family attractions. I personally visited Broadway at the Beach about 4 times in the week that I was there. There is something for everyone, no matter their age! Take a trip to Myrtle Beach for a fun break from reality.
Of course, there are so many different places to visit with your children, but these are my favorite family-friendly places that I have been! Check them out. You definitely won’t regret it!
XOXO,
Have Some Wanderlust
