Cruising Around the World: The Best Places to Sail To

When booking your next cruise, make sure you pick a fun destination! If you’re like me, you tend to cruise to the same destination over and over. However, sometimes it is fun to spice it up and go somewhere out of your comfort zone. Check these out!

Asia

If you’re someone that is fascinated by culture, this is the cruise destination for you! This is a destination that not many people choose as their first choice because they want to visit the tourist spots, like Paris or Rome. However, how cool would it be to tell people that you went to Asia?! There, you can explore older civilizations. You can also see temples, amazing national parks, different manicured gardens, local markets and many busy cities with colorful skyscrapers. You can experience so much culture even in a short amount of time!

Eastern Caribbean

If you’re more of a beach person, the Eastern Caribbean is the place to be. This includes many different islands, including the U.S. and British Virgin Islands, St. Maarten, Turks & Caicos and others. If you want to see far down into the ocean and be able to see your feet through the clear water, this is your go-to place! You’ll find that glorious turquoise-blue water and beautiful beaches. Everywhere around you looks like it could be from a painting. These islands are where you get to see beauty while also getting tan at the same time!

Bermuda

Bermuda happens to be the place that I sail to over and over again. The truth is, I don’t think that I will ever get tired of traveling there. This is a British island in the Atlantic with beaches more beautiful than you’ve ever seen. Yes, some of their beaches really do have pink sand. Horseshoe Beach and Elbow Beach are some well-known beaches, to name a few. The locals are friendly and you will feel at home there for the duration of your stay!

The Bahamas

The Bahamas definitely need to be on your destination list! They really have it all. For one, if you don’t want a long cruise, don’t worry. It is a very quick sail from Florida ports. Once you are in the Bahamas, there are so many things to do. They have markets, beaches, and so many activities. This includes taking a Nassau pirate tour which finishes up at the all-inclusive water park at Atlantis resort. You can’t go to the Bahamas without visiting the Atlantis!

Greece

Greece is definitely on my bucket list. I mean, who wouldn’t want to travel to the country where everything is blue and white and where everything is beautiful? Greece is known for its summer nightlife where there is music and dancing! However, if you don’t like partying, don’t worry. There are plenty of beaches, or you could find a beautiful taverna for an amazing meal of seafood that is caught daily!

Wherever you end up, make sure it is a place that you are excited about. Cruises are fun, but the destination is the best part!
